 The candidate will be responsible to design and develop strategic projects in Microsoft .NET and related technologies. The candidate will be placed in the “Business Solutions and Services” (BSS) Business Unit of Logicom Solutions. Job Description

  • Responsible for designing and developing world-class Microsoft .NET solutions for enterprise customers in Government and Financial Services
  • Monitors new technology trends and leverages solutions
  • Serves as the Technical Designer during Pre-sales activities and undertakes the technical solution design, assures solution technical assurance, prepares services sizing, and identifies assumptions and risks.
  • Participates in detailed Requirements Analysis and Solution Design to ensure feasibility and compliance with proposed solution
  • Installs/Deploys Development, Pre-production, and Production Environments as needed
  • Ensures unit-testing of developed components to ensure problem-free and top-quality system
  • Learns, adjusts and excels in the technology/tools selected for the implementation of the project.
  • "Raises a flag" on all not normal events, such as over-effort, inconsistencies, improvements, problems during Project Delivery.
  • Ensures utilization and improvement of standards, processes, and tools with other colleagues in same profession.

 

Job Requirements

  • 8 years + working experience in IT solutions development.
  • Language proficiency in Greek and English
  • University Degree in IT
  • Technical Certification will be considered an advantage
  • Commitment to deliver best-of-class quality and on-time projects.
  • Passion to continuously learn in a fast-paced and challenging technology area.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organization and communication skills

 

Skills and Technologies

  • Team Leading skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of Object-Oriented Development and Internet Technologies.
  • Excellent knowledge of .NET and ASP.NET MVC Framework.
  • Excellent knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
  • Excellent knowledge of Web Development Frameworks such as Bootstrap, jQuery, React.
  • Good understanding of HTTP APIs (REST/JSON and/or SOAP/XML)
  • Good understanding of ASP.NET WebAPI
  • Good understanding of SQL and relational databases (Preferably MS SQL)
  • Experience with source control (TFS and/or GIT)
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks.

PRE-EMPLOYMENT CANDIDATE PRIVACY NOTICE FOR MEDICAL ASSESSMENT BEFORE HIRING

You agree that subject to the completion of the recruitment process and provided that you receive a conditional offer for employment, you will go through a Fit-For-Work assessment by the Company’s Doctor. The Doctor defines the medical tests needed and performs the examination. You will need to sign a Data Privacy consent with the Company Doctor. The Company Doctor will provide a Fit-For-Work assessment with possible comments to the Company. This assessment will be one of the elements taken into consideration for providing a final offer. Other elements include but are not limited of, verification of the educational certifications, the references, and the work permits (if applicable).

Logicom will keep the Fit-For-Work assessment as part of your HR records if your Employment Contract is signed. If the Employment Contract is not signed, the Fit-For-Work assessment will be destroyed upon such confirmation.
