We are looking for a Senior Presales Systems Engineer to design advanced infrastructure systems. The successful candidates will be analyzing and designing systems solutions. Will be part of a talented team of Presales Consultants that demonstrate superb technical competency, delivering mission critical infrastructure designs and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance and security. Qualified systems engineers will have a background in IT, computer systems engineering, or systems engineering and analysis.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Design and configuration of Servers, Storage, Virtualization, Security and Windows / Linux operating systems solutions.
  • Primary customer technical contact
  • Responding to inquiries from clients, staff, service providers and vendors to provide technical assistance and support
  • Lead technical presentations in person and assist the sales team in technology subjects
  • Able to carry out site surveys and audits
  • Able to provide accurate feedback to the rest of the team with regards to customer requirements and required changes
  • Managing assigned design projects and program components to deliver solutions in accordance with established objectives
  • Achieving reliable, timely and high-quality design work
  • Participate in the design of information and operational support systems
  • Author of design and configuration documents
  • Convey and document technical requirements to prove business value across organizations
  • Any other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications and Skills

  • University graduates in Computer Science or related field with at least  5 years of hands-on experience at the Senior System Engineer level
  • Customer-focused technology oriented person
  • Proven working experience in designing solutions with Windows and UNIX /Linux based environments
  • Solid experience with virtualization and storage and cloud computing architectures
  • Deep understanding of data center interdependencies around the virtualization layer, including: storage, security, network infrastructure, applications
  • Wide know-how of ICT field and systems, networking and/or security in particular with areas of deep specialization
  • Microsoft Certifications at MCSE levels
  • Fluency in both Greek and English

PRE-EMPLOYMENT CANDIDATE PRIVACY NOTICE FOR MEDICAL ASSESSMENT BEFORE HIRING

You agree that subject to the completion of the recruitment process and provided that you receive a conditional offer for employment, you will go through a Fit-For-Work assessment by the Company’s Doctor. The Doctor defines the medical tests needed and performs the examination. You will need to sign a Data Privacy consent with the Company Doctor. The Company Doctor will provide a Fit-For-Work assessment with possible comments to the Company. This assessment will be one of the elements taken into consideration for providing a final offer. Other elements include but are not limited of, verification of the educational certifications, the references, and the work permits (if applicable).

Logicom will keep the Fit-For-Work assessment as part of your HR records if your Employment Contract is signed. If the Employment Contract is not signed, the Fit-For-Work assessment will be destroyed upon such confirmation.
