Logicom Solutions is looking for a highly motivated and passionate Senior Business Consultant who will be consulting customers and analysing business needs across several industries, mainly within the public and financial services sectors. The successful candidate will join the company’s Business Solutions and Services Division and will have the opportunity to be involved in a variety of projects.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Being a single point of contact with customers regarding the preparation of the business solution requirements
- Engaging in pre-sales activities to assist in defining the solution requirements/ scope and improve proposed solution value to meet customer needs, as well as in providing efforts associated with business consulting activities
- Acting as dependable advisor to customers
- Understanding and analysing the solution to produce a detailed requirement analysis document
- Following up the solution throughout the project lifecycle and providing support where needed
- Performing prototype evaluation prior its presentation to the customer in order to ensure that it meets customer expectations
- Performing QA and system testing once the solution has been developed prior to the UAT with the customer
- Coordinating and assisting the customer to perform the UAT/ solution acceptance test.
- Develops additional documentation when necessary such as training material, user manuals, etc.
- Coordinating and delivering training of the solution to customers
- Ensuring utilization and improvement of standards, tools and frameworks used by the team
- Mentoring and guiding junior members of the team where needed to prepare quality deliverables
Qualifications and Skills
- Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Business Consultant role
- Experience in digital transformation consulting initiatives/ projects, e.g. digital transformation strategy and roadmap, process review and reengineering, etc.
- Experience with business applications such as vertical business solutions (e.g. for Banking or Insurance) and/or horizontal ones (e.g. CRM, ERP, Mobile Apps)
- Experience working as part of a team and/or leading a team
- Experience in data analytics and relevant tools (e.g. Power BI) will be considered an advantage
- Experience in the financial services or public sector will be considered an advantage
- Any relevant professional certifications will be considered an advantage
- Strive for continuous improvement and knowledge with attention to detail
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time and perform well in a fast-paced environment
- Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
- Fluency in Greek and English, both verbal and written
