We are looking for an experienced Helpdesk Engineer who will serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Serving as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email.
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
- Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.
- Able to provide accurate feedback to the rest of the team with regards to customer requirements and required changes.
- Troubleshooting malfunctions of systems, network hardware and security systems to resolve operational issues and restore services and be able to accurately diagnose root cause.
- Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.
- Follow up with customers to ensure issue has been resolved.
- Record events and problems and their resolution in logs.
- Pass on any feedback or suggestions by customers to the appropriate internal team.
- Any other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Skills
- University degree in Computer Science / Computer engineering or related field.
- Proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician or similar role.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of Systems and Networking.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Fluency in both Greek and English.
