DevOps Engineer - Logicom Solutions - Cyprus

Logicom Solutions is looking for a highly motivated and passionate DevOps Engineer who will be developing, managing and monitoring the application and development infrastructure of its Business Solutions and Services Division and its customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Monitoring and measuring infrastructure and system performance, e.g. KPIs monitoring, stress tests, etc.
  • Incidence management and root cause analysis
  • Create, deploying, managing and maintaining on premise and on Cloud integrations, middleware enterprise systems and other platforms
  • Setting up tools and required infrastructure
  • Configuration and managing databases such as MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL and Mongo
  • Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation - Selecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD tools
  • Coordination and communication within the team and with customers
  • Identify and explore new technologies / build PoC’s
  • Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible
  • Managing DevOps Security
  • Support the Development team throughout the software development lifecycle

Qualifications and Skills

  • Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Computer Science or in a related field
  • Deep technical knowledge of DevOps tools, techniques and cloud technologies
  • Experience in Enterprise Infrastructure
  • Knowledge of selective programming and scripting languages
  • Experience working on Windows and Linux based infrastructure
  • Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)
  • Experience in working with Containers and Cloud native platforms
  • Strong understanding of technical design and system architecture
  • excellent organisational and time management skills, and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
  • Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
  • Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
  • Attentive to detail, methodical, diligent
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact on a technical and non-technical level
  • Fluency in Greek and English, both verbal and written

PRE-EMPLOYMENT CANDIDATE PRIVACY NOTICE FOR MEDICAL ASSESSMENT BEFORE HIRING

You agree that subject to the completion of the recruitment process and provided that you receive a conditional offer for employment, you will go through a Fit-For-Work assessment by the Company’s Doctor. The Doctor defines the medical tests needed and performs the examination. You will need to sign a Data Privacy consent with the Company Doctor. The Company Doctor will provide a Fit-For-Work assessment with possible comments to the Company. This assessment will be one of the elements taken into consideration for providing a final offer. Other elements include but are not limited of, verification of the educational certifications, the references, and the work permits (if applicable).

Logicom will keep the Fit-For-Work assessment as part of your HR records if your Employment Contract is signed. If the Employment Contract is not signed, the Fit-For-Work assessment will be destroyed upon such confirmation.
