HR Officer Romania - Greece Logicom Distribution

We are looking for a Human Resources Officer (HRM) to be stationed at our offices in Bucharest, Romania. The role requires the successful candidate to be responsible and give support to Logicom operations in Romania and Greece, mainly in the area of recruitment and selection, HR administration and employee relations. In addition, and depending on the needs he/she might be asked to help in implementation and administration of a variety of HR duties, procedures, systems and programs in his/her area of responsibility.  

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conducts recruitment efforts for both countries; writes and places advertisements; works with managers and supervisors to screen and interview candidates; coordinates the extension of job offers.
  • Preparation, review and updating of employee job offers, employment contracts, addendums, employee personal HR folders, for both countries.   
  • Involvement in day to day various HR Dept. tasks based on need.
  • Leads and/or assists in the development, improvement and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Makes sure that the Romanian and Greek operations comply fully with/satisfy local labor laws and procedures. 
  • Payroll administration for the Romanian operations (payroll preparation, issuing of different documents for employees, etc.)
  • Develops and administers various human resource systems, plans and procedures for all personnel under his/her responsibility.
  • Employee engagement (increase loyalty of people, and employer brand awareness of the company).
  • Establishes and maintains records and reports. Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings in his area of responsibility.
  • Travel to the Greek installations in Aspropirgos, Attiki on regular intervals and as required.

 

Qualifications and Skills

  • University Graduate in Human Resources or related field.
  • Master’s degree in HRM or other related field will be considered an advantage.
  • 3-4 years of experience in an HR related position.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and understanding of diversity principles.
  • Hands on experience with HR software, like HRIS or HRMS.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of labor legislation in his area of responsibility.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Teamwork skills. Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach.
  • Aptitude in problem-solving and general analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of Greek both verbally and in writing will be considered an advantage.
  • Knowledge of English language at a professional level both verbally and in writing.

PRE-EMPLOYMENT CANDIDATE PRIVACY NOTICE FOR MEDICAL ASSESSMENT BEFORE HIRING

You agree that subject to the completion of the recruitment process and provided that you receive a conditional offer for employment, you will go through a Fit-For-Work assessment by the Company’s Doctor. The Doctor defines the medical tests needed and performs the examination. You will need to sign a Data Privacy consent with the Company Doctor. The Company Doctor will provide a Fit-For-Work assessment with possible comments to the Company. This assessment will be one of the elements taken into consideration for providing a final offer. Other elements include but are not limited of, verification of the educational certifications, the references, and the work permits (if applicable).

Logicom will keep the Fit-For-Work assessment as part of your HR records if your Employment Contract is signed. If the Employment Contract is not signed, the Fit-For-Work assessment will be destroyed upon such confirmation.
