Logicom Group Careers Desalination Plant Shift Operators – MN Limassol Water Co.

The successful candidates will join the 12-hour shift Plant Operation team stationed at the PLC control room of our fully automated Desalination Plant in Limassol producing 40,000 m3 per day of drinking water.

Duties include manual data recording, operating plant process units and monitoring plant equipment via a computerised PLC system, Samples collection and Lab analyses.

Successful candidates will be go through on the job training before qualifying for the above post.

The position is based in Curium, Episkopi, Limassol, Cyprus

Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Manual data recording
  • Monitoring plant equipment from various locations of the plant
  • Sample collection and lab analyses
  • Operating plant process units and equipment
  • Carrying out special tasks for improving plant operations

 

Qualifications and Skills

 

  • Higher Education Diploma in technical / chemical or relevant field.
  • Up to 1 yr. experience of working in a similar industrial environment, preferably in production / process or chemical industries
  • Must have hands-on and practical skills
  • Be able to work with multi skilled technical teams
  • Have analytical skills and be able to make decisions
  • Good Knowledge of English (spoken and written) is essential

 

Remuneration

PRE-EMPLOYMENT CANDIDATE PRIVACY NOTICE FOR MEDICAL ASSESSMENT BEFORE HIRING

You agree that subject to the completion of the recruitment process and provided that you receive a conditional offer for employment, you will go through a Fit-For-Work assessment by the Company’s Doctor.
